Keynote speaker to be Dr. Luanne Freer

During the Spring of 2003 Dr. Luanne Freer established the first-ever and highest recorded emergency room clinic on Mt. Everest. Dr. Luanne Freer, board certified emergency physician, wilderness medicine expert, and veteran volunteer for the Himalayan Rescue Association, heads the altitude-experienced medical staff, which allows climbers and trekkers to pursue their missions and leave their health care needs to the professionals. Freer, a local Bozeman doctor, is also the Medcor's Medical Director for Yellowstone National Park and the past president and current board member for the Wilderness Medical Society.
