This calendar is a poignant look at how Montana teenage girls perceived "real beauty" in their lives. Inspired by the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty, the girls discovered real beauty is all around them and goes far beyond how beauty is represented in the media or in movies. Their photographs include women and girls of all shapes and ages – friends, neighbors and relatives exemplifying real beauty in everyday life. These young photographers were mentored by local professional photographers and then had their photos displayed and sold at a photo exhibit fund raiser.

Each month features a photo, the teen photographer's description of the beauty of the subject in the photo and a motivational message for girls. All proceeds from calendar sales are used for supporting future Girls for a Change activities including our annual statewide conference. This year's conference"Picture Your Potential" was held on March 22, 2008 at Montana State University.
